Packing Recommendations

Retreat Season may be right around the corner, or you may be preparing for an end-of-the-year retreat. When was the last time you reviewed your packing list to see what may need to be updated?

To be transparent, none of the items are affiliated-related. I am just sharing some of my well-tested ministry items!

The items I recommend are items that have come over the years. These items were not purchased at once, especially since budgets are always tricky. When buying anything, you have to keep in mind two questions: What's the item's longevity, and did I find the best deal?

Here are some of my favorite items that have held well over years of running retreats:

Packing Musts

Packing can be challenging, especially when you have so much to get to the retreat center. My favorite bins come from Home Depot. The clear top makes it very easy to see what is inside. Trust me; you have to look for containers with wheels—game changer. The bins have proven to be durable, sturdy and you can stack them on top of each other when transporting them, ensuring everything inside will remain safe.

Do not forget to label what is in the bin! A label maker is a privilege, but a simple marker with a written inventory on a piece of paper taped to the side will do. If you are feeling creative, a laminator can also serve as a checklist as you go along using a dry eraser marker

Lastly, depending on who is on your team, you may need help bringing the bins from point a to b. This cart has served me well and is super portable when stored in tight spaces.

Check back next week for more of my recommended items.

Let's Keep it Rated G. Let's continue to pray for one another. PEACE.
